The carpet was embellished with colored duct tape that was melted into the fibers. Via: Arkitip.
Haut hobo.

i like how they left the forms of people having sat in them before taking the shot

Those down cushions need some serious fluffing...
...and the duct tape is just wrong.

LOVE IT! (The sofa & the tape-rug.) So fun.

What would you stuff that with?

I like the patchworkiness of the sofa, but not the beanbaginess.

I love the beanbaginess but not the patchworkiness. Does anyone know of a similarly oversized, cushy sectional or couch that one could actually buy? (in the US a plus)

they've gotten meh reviews, but Lovesac makes something similar. it's a chain, there's a number of stores around. I like them but i don't like their upholstery options.

I really do hope this is the only one of it's kind.

I don't like this at all. It looks like it might be cool in a kids' room situation, maybe even teens. Could be a good place for napping, 'cause then your eyes would be closed and not looking at it. It's just sloppy and unkempt, and unwelcoming to people who have to consider how they're going to stand up from wherever they sit down.

This just looks sloppy. I don't like this at all. Makes me think of a messy bed when I look at this.
