We'd use it anywhere. Philippe Starck's 1.2.3 series' tall cabinet for Duravit is made for bathroom storage, but we wonder if it could be used for storage elsewhere, too.

In cool white, it looks like it would be even more expensive than $672, and that includes shipping!
love that this is functional yet really beautiful. i live in a rental apartment now but just bookmarked this in my "someday" folder. love it.

where was this 3 months ago, when we were desperately scouring bathroom stores for suc a cabinet??? This is perfect! (we bought 2 IKEA kitchen cabinets--uppers -- to hang on top of one another, faced all sides, and used white doors)

I find Fixture Universe to be a little frustrating because you often have to dig a little deeper to get the whole price of what it is you are actually looking at. This piece for example is $670.00. But then it says the drawers are optional which means the cost of what you see in the picture is of course going to be more.
I know that the high end bathroom furniture and fixtures are custom made but just like automobiles I wish they would price the models in the picture "as seen."
Sounds like a quibble but when you see what appears to be a simple vanity console for around $900.00 and realize that does not include the drawer attached to it or the mounting hardware or the vessel, faucet, P-trap, etc. that can be a little irritating after you figure out that it's going to cost $2000.00 instead of $900.00.

I agree... it's a beautiful piece. The medicine cabinet in this series is absolutely fabulous. But, the prices were way too steep for us. We're in the tale end of our mid-century ranch renovation and spent MONTHS looking for pieces that fit the mod feel we were going for. We bought the Starck 3 toilet and sink. I desperately wanted this piece, but it just wasn't in the budget.
Monika1... sounds like you bought smart to me! We might just do the same. (Ikea opens in Orlando in fall, thank God!)
