Letter Form Furniture

As a type geek and furniture enthusiast, I can't help but be intrigued by this Alphabet Furniture posted at DesignMilk. The original site, Set26 is a Swiss site. I can't translate German, but there are lots of fun images...

I couldn't help myself...you can tinker with the "konfigurator" here.

The M looks like something from the Mary Tyler Moore show, no?

These would be very cool if you were the only one who had them. Once they're "everywhere," the punch will be diminished.

Like initials on sweaters and handbags, this will get old very fast. (And I absolutely HATE that stupid labeling of objects to say what they are, or are for, like a paper shopping bag that says "big brown bag" or a big bowl that says "pasta" or "popcorn.")

I'd like to see a whole household done like this. I guess you have to start with the "RADIO" radio.

the sort of thing that's amusing in a store (or on a Web site), but I can't imagine in someone's house. perhaps a commercial application?
