Darn those smart folks from MSLO, this bowl (which they don't tell you about in their guide) is indeed Bodum, but it's not available in the US. Digging around on Bodum's international website, we found that it's called the Sora and is part of their double walled line of glassware. This is probably a new addition and may be available in the US soon.
We think that it's a really really nice use of the double walled glass technology that they've been having fun with for the past few years. While this stuff tends to be a bit fragile, being able to serve food in it offers great insulating possibilities for hot and cold as well as a really nice show-off touch.
Meanwhile, you can find it here:
oh, bodum <3

*drools* I have two of their smaller tumblers and they are heavenly. And they're also rather affordable for something which such nice design. I can't wait to get my hands on these!
I think it's really amusing, though, that it took so long for someone to come up with these. I mean it's really just a much nicer way of doing those tacky double walled glasses we always used at my grandma's beach house. :p

maybe i'm rough with my bodum glassware, but i've had so many of the double-walled tumblers break...i don't want the danger of a bowl, though they look spectacular...

I've had the same bad experience with their espresso cups nash. It doesn't take a lot of roughness.

If you guys think it can withstand the roughness of travel, and you are willing to pay the extra shipping costs, I can buy these in Denmark and send to a couple of users who can't live without them, until they come to the US.
Let me know if there is any interest!
