Marcus Sims of Treincarnation Turns Trees into Treasures
Washington DC

We first fell in love with Treincarnation's products when we saw the mulberry wood kitchen bar in Amy's Green House. So we looked up the company and spoke to owner and tree guru Marcus Sims who sent us photos of new items not yet on the website. Treincarnation's furniture is built from felled trees in Montgomery County, MD...

Since 1990, Marcus Sims has accumulated salvaged fallen hard woods including black walnut, mulberry, cherry, catalpa, locust, hickory and osage orange.

A self-taught woodworker, he can construct custom items for your home.

The pictures above are a new breakfast bar and vase. The photos below show a walnut vanity and curved shelves from Treincarnation's website. The website also displays other bookcases, furniture and more original work.
