Creating a look doesn’t have to cost a fortune, not if you know where to shop. We love it when Martha does articles on milk glass (we did one as well) or magazines showcase the beauty of displaying objects of similar colors....
Look for Less: Milk Glass at Marshalls

We tear out pictures and try to figure out how to recreate some of these ideas, wondering where to begin. It's Marshalls to the rescue!
It can take some digging and maybe some trips to multiple locations (including visits to Home Goods and TJ Maxx), but this discount store never fails to come through for us. Look at some of the items we found at the Marshalls in Landover, MD.
In the DC area there are several Marshalls and TX Maxx stores that can be reached via Metro. In addition there are many that are less then 15 min outside of the city.

I have that cake stand with the little cutouts from either Marshalls or TJ Maxx- both are great sources for tableware and other random goodies...
