Men are sleeping naked more, what are you doing? Continuing from last year's Women's Survey in which "t-shirt and undies" beat everyone hands down, and Tuesday's Men's Survey where "Nuthin'" is winning, inquiring minds want to know what's really going on when the lights go out....(go to 2005 results as well). camisole?
just camisole?
not camisole and undies?
just undies would've been a much better option.
that would be my pick and i know quite a few others who would have the same response.
Just undies here. I'm not going to sign this with my usual AT name but I agree with bean - Just undies is as valid an option for the gals as for the guys.
Just a t-shirt for me. Why isn't that an option?
Camisoles leave me too cold around the neck and shoulders - and keeping the covers piled up high to the top makes me too hot over-all. So I need something on the top, but other than that, why wear anything?
I'm not signing my usual name either but I agree with just undies.
Re: Nightgowns. It would be around my neck in the morning.
I often fall asleep in whatever I have been wearing that day.
Where's the option for t-shirt and pants? Sweatpants, yoga pants, pjs?
I agree with Jaime, you need some kind of t-shirts and pants option. Do those count as "pajamas"? I dont really know what "pajamas" are, other than those fuzzy yellow zip-up full-body things with feet I wore as a kid.
T-shirt and undies or lounge pants.
I lived through many dorm fire drills to sleep nakey, plus I'm not coherent or functional before two cups of coffee. If a fire broke out, there's no way I could get dressed.
Secondly, my dog sleeps on my bed. I really don't want to wake up to Rover licking my buttcrack.
... it depends on the TIME OF YEAR, of course. Comfy PJ's in the Winter, cool birthday suit in the Summer.
I put "T-shirt and undies" but what I really mean is mid-thigh length T-shirt-like cotton knit nightgowns, with a V-neck and short sleeves, but no underwear. A girl needs to breathe down there.
This answer also heavily depends on the heat levels in your building. When I lived on the ground floor in a 50's era building, the temperature never got below 70 degrees and I was a nightie/camisole kind of girl.
Now I live in a new building with huge windows and heat register units that run up my electric bill when turned on. Needless to say, I asked my mother to give me flannel pajamas for Christmas.
All I'm gonna say is that pic above is HOT.
I picked "pajamas" but what I really wear are pj pants (or pj shorts in warm weather) and an old oversized t-shirt. Comfy.
My mom used to wear those floor length polyester "satin" nightgowns. I can't imagine being comfortable in something like that.
i assume by cami they meant w/ underwear. otherwise, how odd!
i used to sleep naked but my new cat likes to crawl under the blanket. i wake up w/ her at my knees on on my stomach. so, naked could get dangerous. lol
Am I the only one wearing Old Navy's "Just Bottoms"?? I wear the heavy cotton ones in the cold weather and the lighter cotton ones in summer.
(Never flannel...)
Usually worn with a tank top/camisole. Although, I don't even know the last time I used the word "camisole"!!
It says men are sleeping naked more... What are you doing? I would have to answer "Hopefully sleeping with those men." Heh heh. I actually don't care what I wear to bed as long as it isn't to bunchy or restrictive. I cannot sleep in a bra, or tight undies.
I think that women have far too many choices and combos thereof to really make a survey very reliable.
I sometimes wear a cami, sometimes an oversized tee, sometimes a tank and yoga pants, sometime pajamas, sometimes only the pj top, sometimes my boyfriend's t-shirt or boxers, sometimes just panties, sometimes none of the above. What I choose depends on temperature, what's clean (I hate doing laundry and put it off as long as possible), whether or not my boyfriend is there and my mood.
So...I have no idea how to answer.
usually just panties, sometimes just pj bottoms, sometimes bottoms and tank top or big shirt.
In the winter, thigh high socks and nothing else. In the summer, spring, & fall, nothing at all.
Au natural baby! Heck, I hate wearing clothes during the daytime, so why would I sleep in 'em too?
this is quite pervy really.
wasnt there a fear for fear pop rock band?
Bivi, i 0 i 000 i 0 iii 42 would never want that.
Does anyone recognize the pajamas? Someone asked the same question on the flickr page, but no one has answered.
What no option for just undies??
Thats my choice - oh and socks for when my feets get cold
Yeah, I think tank/cami and pj pants mnight need to be an option next time around. That's what I wear most of the time, although in summer it's a nightgown and in winter when the heater is busted it's nothing at all!
