On our last visit to The Conran Shop, one of our favorite pieces was simple, classic and on sale. This oak console table is the kind of piece that can easily work in various settings and serve multiple purposes...

Placed behind a sofa in the store, it helps break up a large space. The narrow profile would also work to add a level of depth to a long hallway, entryway or pass-through room. Made of solid oak and oak veneer, the Oak Console Table is currently $960 marked down from $1600. The table measures 63" x 16" x 26".

That is pretty ugly, I was thinking that if it was like 200 bucks I could put a floor length table cloth on it. But I don't really see why it is that expensice other than the fact that it is from conran.

It's a knock off of a Hans Wegner table.

Exactly! Its a knock off so it shouldn't be as expensive and by the way I think it is totally overrated Hans Wegner or not!
