The website states that these are "responsibly made" in China. I had my doubts about how true this was given the spate of bad news about Chinese imported goods, so I emailed the company, and got the following email back from them within an hour:
"We work very closely with the owners of Bambu, both Americans, who reside in Shanghai. They are on the factory floor consistently and one of the owners has a background in sustainability and labor laws in manufacturing.
This is a complex issue and one that both Greenfeet and our vendors take seriously."

Thanks, KarenH, for providing necessary information regarding this product that the blog didn't provide. Something else not mentioned is that they range from 6" to 9" in outside diameter. They're very small.
