Classic Kettle. We've spotted Eva Zeisel's teakettle a few times while shopping during the past few weeks. She designed the Eva Kettle for the Chantal Cookware Corporationto celebrate her 100th birthday. The shape of this stainless steel kettle is very traditional with a few curvy design elements that distinguish it as one of Ziesel's designs...
We're expecially fond of the Chili Red enamled model. The kettle features a stay-cool silicone grip and a removable whistle. The 1.8 quart kettle in stainless is $85 at the MoMA Design Store or $79.95 from Crate & Barrel. It has also been known to be in stock at Amazon. It is available in Chili Red direct from Chantal.

It looks nice but its a bit too flimsy-looking for my tastes. I'm a huge fan of the Staub teapot. Unfortunately it takes only 1 quart of water.

I love my Eva kettle! I got it at the MoMA design store in Soho a year or so back. I have a friend who complains about the non-moving handle. It doesn't bother me, though. The kettle is telling us how regal it wants to look!
One small complaint though. The exterior surface does get yucky/tacky/dirty rather quickly from sitting on a busy stove.
