Outdoor dining meets glam. The Fiber Optic Tablecloth by LumiGram is woven of dazzling fiber optic threads. The result is a shimmery tablecloth that outshines even the crystal.

Now, while this thing is certainly over-the-top, we're always looking for innovations that could become more mainstream (and affordable) in the future. For now this is definitely a novel luxury item, at just under $1300 for the 59x157 size.

Once we got past the glittery photos, we also noticed that the tablecloths are battery-operated, bordered in cotton, and washable.

Wow....SO pretty. I think these could easily veer into tacky land if you weren't careful about the rest of the decor, but I love the soft lighting they provide and the pictures certainly do them justice.

While I think this would be stunning in the right setting right now, I could definitely see it getting overexposed and tacky very quickly.
Wow, imagine this at an outdoor wedding after dusk. Not every table, but maybe the one with the cake or buffet on it.

I like the setting in the picture. It's perfect for that setting.

And no, it's not going to blind you.

It is really pretty, but what I want to know is how would you clean it? Suppose someone spills some sort of gooey sauce or something on it, what then??????
