Despite the Ghost Bar's glowing green mirror surrounds and stainless steel fixtures, these giant penny (silver dollar?) wall tiles steal the show. We love their scale-like texture and shimmer.
We're not sure exactly who makes these shiny babies, but we wonder if they could be these Alloy pennyrounds at Ann Sacks (pictured below).
they also might be from these guys: http://stonesource.com/elements.html

The walls surrounding the escalators in the SFO BART station are covered in these. The effect of the light bounding off the rows of tiny mirrors as you rise or descend reminds me of sunlight on water.

I love these. This would make my bathroom perfect.

This would be cool as a backsplash. At $65sqft can I just use pennies ($1.44) or Nickel's ($7.20)??

Reminds me of fish scales or snake skin, very cool thought.
