Calling this a top 10 list is a bit of an overstatement, because we only know of two, but we hew to convention. Shopping for a rug recently we interviewed Steven Forrey at The Rug Company what folks who DON'T WANT TO WAIT the 4-6 month lead times do for rugs. Apparently, cutting bigger rugs down to fit is far more common than we thought and can be done very carefully and well. Really need to take a foot off your favorite rug so that it fits into your new living room? Cut away...
