Designed by Minneapolis-based Blu Dot for Herman Miller, Cognita is multi-functional as an upholstered bench and storage space. The upholstered section lifts to reveal a place for hanging files or linens and the hard-surfaced side of the bench houses two drawers and a hinged lid with a storage tray — perfect for remote controls!
We think this piece is bound to be a new Herman Miller classic! The seating upholstery is available in three colors: chocolate, celery and chili. We found the Cognita Bench for sale online for $1000.

I'm surprised the price is so reasonable! I don't love the seat fabric color options, but that's easy enough to change.
