We love it when a local artist gets national attention, so we were pretty excited to see that work by one of our favorite San Francisco artists, Rare Device co-owner Lisa Congdon, was now available through PBteen.

No matter your political leanings, most of us can agree that it's important to vote. To encourage this viewpoint, buyolympia is giving away 10,000 of these Vote! posters, featuring artwork by Olympia-based paper cutting artist Nikki McClure.

There's something we like about this table. It's not that it's made out of recycled milk jugs, although that is cool, or it's classic black and white color scheme.

We never paint anything - a wall, a piece of furniture, and certainly not a house, without swatching first. Not only do paint colors usually look different on the wall than they do in a paint deck, but we've found that the same paint color can look incredibly different when used in various locations.

While we're usually big fans of simple white bath linens, a good pattern can really get us going. So it's no surprise that we're currently eyeing these Tile Jacquard Towels.

Some spaces in the home don't immediately cry out to be decorated, but in our opinion that doesn't mean they should be neglected. The back of the toilet is one of them, and you can see what we've currently done with ours above. Click below the jump for a closeup.

We're a big fan of using small containers and bowls for organization, and have one of these laquered cupcake bowls on our desk to hold paper clips - it's the perfect unexpected vessel to corral odds and ends. Luckily for us, Rose and Radish just got a new shipment in that includes some never before seen colors.

We've had to finally give in and admit that summer is over. In an effort to embrace fall, we like to add some touches of the season into our home - like these orange Chinese Lantern Pods we added to our mantlescape this morning.

Lately, peacock blue has been our favorite color, and we've been trying to find ways to incorporate some of it into our home. This rug from Urban Outfitters may be the trick.

We don't like to hang things above our bed - growing up in earthquake country has made us a little paranoid about the big one. So when we switched to a bed without a headboard we were a little stumped about how to add some visual interest to that side of the room. Enter our favorite decorating material: paint.

We're not sure exactly what it is we love about this mirror so much, but we've recently decided it's the perfect accent piece for making a big statement without taking up much space.
