Birdcage Bedspread

2006_08_30_bedspread.jpg
A bedspread that reminds us of one we loved long, long ago is a bedspread worth blogging.

Urban Outfitters' sketch-book style birdcages remind us of a patterned bedspread that kept our imaginations occupied until we fell asleep when we were kids. Ours had park scenes, and the evening-time flights of fancy these vignettes inspired softened the cruel injustice of bedtime.

$32 at Urban Outfitters.

My mother had a quilt made by her grandmother, I think, that had the best pieces of fabric on it--pictorial and detailed, and easy to get lost in. I know the feelings.

the urban outfitters here re-stocked these recently and I HAD to buy it. even if I had nowhere to put it for now.

I HAD to buy it too. No where to put it either. It was out of stock for a while, and my regret about not buying it earlier made me get it once it was back in stock.

Why can't I come up with a pattern that drives people crazy like that?
