Urban Outfitters' sketch-book style birdcages remind us of a patterned bedspread that kept our imaginations occupied until we fell asleep when we were kids. Ours had park scenes, and the evening-time flights of fancy these vignettes inspired softened the cruel injustice of bedtime.
$32 at Urban Outfitters.
My mother had a quilt made by her grandmother, I think, that had the best pieces of fabric on it--pictorial and detailed, and easy to get lost in. I know the feelings.
I love it!!!! It's amazing
lisa, this is great. i almost blogged it yesterday too (before seeing this), but went for UO's bowls instead. thanks for personalizing it; makes me love the bedspread even more.
They have this pattern in curtains too. I bought them - they look great. very fun and colorful and retro
they are all out of both the bedspread and the curtains in our store here in Toronto - boo!
and the US UO doesn't ship to the great white north.
Great design - I love the birdcage
the urban outfitters here re-stocked these recently and I HAD to buy it. even if I had nowhere to put it for now.
I HAD to buy it too. No where to put it either. It was out of stock for a while, and my regret about not buying it earlier made me get it once it was back in stock.
Why can't I come up with a pattern that drives people crazy like that?
