(Welcome again to Ryan, one of the finalists vying for a blogging position at the upcoming AT:Home Tech. Comment away.)
Design House is located in Vancouver, BC and is part of the renovated warehouse district known as Yaletown. With their carefully selected offerings of home furnishings and personal accessories, walking into Design House is the real life equivalent of typing 'only good design' into Google and pressing the 'I'm feeling lucky' button.
Whether you are looking for a new couch or a new watch, it's all right there and you didn't have to search around to find it. Carrying the likes of Iittala, Kartell and Dela Espada just to name a few, Design House certainly lives up to its name.
What makes Design House unique is how they integrate expected design names with not as well known Canadian-made items along with pieces designed in the Design House workshop.

High praise... is it deserving or rather the lucky prize of a blog writer's competition?
Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out. In a store review, though, I *always* want to hear about the prices, especially in Canadian stores where we usually get ripped off of items imported from the US.
very cool shop ... i wish they listed prices online so that i can secretly shop at work without picking up the phone :)
Store is dripping with things you'd only find yourself after taking months to scour the planet. My apartment is half furnished by them. Way better (and easier!) than shopping for design in New York City (second home).
