While we don't have a yard, we do have a front porch, and have been thinking for a while that perhaps all it needs are some hanging planters to spruce it up. These are some of the nicest we've seen yet - modern and simple, they let the plants do the talking.

They're made from galvanized steel, and we especially like the way they link together - a space with dramatic height would best take advantageof this (although at that point watering them might become a challenge.)
