8-8-08 bee market int.jpg8-8-bee logo.jpgWith all the teeny tiny stores in San Francisco where you literally have to squeeze by your fellow shoppers in order to navigate through the piles of goods, Bee Market on Union Street is very much a breath of fresh air. We showed you the dramatic entrance before, which got us excited to see what the store had to offer. The interior looks kind of like a photo shoot - stark white walls, lots of natural sunlight pouring in from the skylights above, and the emphasis completely on the furniture.

8-8-08 bee market bed.jpgThis bright orange-red bed in the middle of the showroom really popped against the white backdrop, and was absolutely our favorite piece. We love the simplicity, color, and the sleek, lacquer-like finish.

8-8-08 bee market bedroom.jpgWe also like that Bee Market's furniture can be customized in lots of different fabrics and finishes, as well as sizes. So if you're looking for an extra-long couch in a particular shade of color, this might be a good place to swing by.

Nice store, but when will we see the end of giant, over-sized lampshades?

Bee Market had a brief run in Los Angeles and it was always one of my favorite stores. Beautiful execution and reasonable prices. The simplicity was really refreshing.
