On a recent spring day, when the Bay Area was still being bucketed by rain, we wandered into Fiori. We felt the need for a sign that a real spring might actually happen, some color, some flowers...and we found it.
As soon as we entered Fiori, we were surrounded by color and scent. Vases of flowers were grouped by color, red on one table, blue on another. The brick walls, simple furnishings, and lack of clutter allowed us to enjoy the flowers themselves.
After a few minutes, we felt that our sanity had been restored and we could face the rain again. Next time we need to send some flowers, or just need a small bunch to cheer us up, we know where to go.
