Gingko's mission is to offer well-designed, practical, quality home furnishings at an affordable price point. Their collection is Asian-inspired, but with a light, contemporary touch. It doesn't have the heavy finishes or embellishment of traditional Asian furniture.
The furnishings have a modern, organic feel. They're made of solid wood, and 90% of their pieces are made from wood used in previous structures, such as old posts and beams, and doors. As Sarah Chang, one of the company's three partners, says, "Veneer doesn't speak to you."
Gingko sells beds, sofas, tables, chairs, cabinets, and room dividers. They also carry accessories such as pillows, mirrors, and rugs, but they only sell items that they love and feel enhance the look. It's possible to have them customize furniture by adding drawers or shelves, changing dimensions, and so on.
There are also locations in Mountain View and Portland -- and shipping is available.

Awesome! Really glad to see this posted. Gingko isn't the right style for my home, but I have always found their furniture to be remarkably beautiful. My mom got her entire bedroom set (bed, two nightstands, dresser & mirror) from them and was blown away by the quality of delivery & customer service. The owner even came out to mount her mirror for her. I believe they have an annual sale, so when you go or call, ask about that.

I wonder why they misspelled "ginkgo" as "gingko".
