TileVault: Mosaic Scenic

  • What: Scenic floor mosaic
  • Where: Terminal A at the Dallas International Airport
  • When: Photos taken on Tuesday, February 19, 2008
  • Why: We walked off the plane and stepped right on to this beauty of a mosaic. We certainly weren't expecting anything this lovely on the floor of the terminal and we were impressed at the level of detail and it made our trek through the massive airport a little bit more fun.

    San Francisco has a beautiful set of mosaics in the Inner Sunset. It is a beautiful outdoor staircase that has different motifs - it's located on 15th and Moraga.
