There are skins for MP3 players, laptops, cell phones and just about any other electronic device. It's a way to protect and express/customize what sometimes can be a dull affair. And now there's a way to do add some flair to your kitchen appliances in similar fashion...

Rachel over at Apartment Therapy New York reported earlier today about customizable colored panels available for fridges, freezers, cooker hoods, panels, and other home appliances called Coolors.

Admittedly a great deal of the designs are pretty tacky (roses and the Lady Liberty are both so 80's Prints Plus). But we do like the idea of using decals to bring a little colour and design onto the fridge particularly, a surface normally decorated anyway. Companies like BLIK and Poketo offer stylized and affordable decals that area easily applied and removed and don't require covering your fridge completely.
