Since I first posted Cristian Zuzunaga's Pixellation fabric in April of 2008 it remains one of my favorite and most unique upholstery applications. Imagine my delight when I found the designers site that profiles many of his pixelation projects — from furniture to fashion.
Though the Togo upholstered in Shanghai is appealing, I'm holding out for Moroso's Steel armchair by Enrico Franzolini upholstered in Arena.
Check out the image captions for specifics on fabric names and see the Cristian Zuzunaga for even more — including his collaboration with fashion brand Quadrat.
If you're like me and can only dream of pixelated upholstery, check out Christian Zuzunaga's silk scarf or tote bag — available exclusively at the Tate giftshop.
