Today's Modern Collectionist Uses External Hard Drives

Do you happen to be an avid media collector? Perhaps purchasing a few matching hard drives may be just the perfect alternative to attempting to hoard all your LPs on tiny little shelves. Plus, we think lining 'em up together makes them look oh-so-good. Wouldn't you agree?

Although we love the idea of placing real labels on Western Digital's previous iteration of their MyBook Studio line of external hard drives (as shown in the picture above), they've also released an updated version fairly recently which features a digital e-Label (using e-Paper tech), making organization even simpler.

And if you're on an Apple computer, you'll be happy to hear new MyBook Studio edition for Mac also supports Time Machine and is available in flavors of 500GB, 1TB, 1.5TB, and 2TB capacities. Prices start at $149.99 and go up to $299.99 for the largest size.
